COVID-19 update from the
West Didsbury Astronomical Society

We are now resuming our talks using ‘Zoom’ video conferencing chats. The next talk is ‘Auroral Emissions Through the Solar System’ by Dr Licia Ray and this will take place on Monday, 8 June 2020 at 19:00. If you have not received a link by Sunday, 7 June – please email the society at chair@wdas2.com. Non-society members are also welcome to attend the chat.

Observing trip: Anglesey – March 2018

West Didsbury Astronomical Society was formed to bring people together who have an interest in Astronomy. If you are interested in astronomy and you’re in the Manchester (UK) area come and meet other local astronomers. 

Everyone is welcome from the complete beginner to the more experienced astronomer. There are regular meetings during the year and ad hoc observing sessions. Meetings are usually held on the second Monday of every month (except in August) – at: Cavendish Road Primary School, Cavendish Road, West Didsbury, Manchester. M20 1JG
